The Mistake

Are you guys like me? When you make a little boo boo, instead of doing the responsible thing and owning up to it and apologizing immediately, you may say it was a little mistake. No biggie. Sometimes I even end up blaming God. I don't think that's right. He didn't make me do the sin.

What's the big deal? Right? Well. Let me offer my thoughts.... My deep thoughts LOL

I'm thinking that no matter how small the mistake was. You gotta think. You may have really hurt that person mentally. And, I'm thinking if you don't say anything to express an apology, and hoping to be forgiven, that would only bring out bad feelings from the other party.

Folks, I've seen it and I've been on both sides. Being The "hurter" and the person who got hurt. And, the feeling isn't too good for both parties. Listen up. The person who got hurt may simply feel like the person who did the hurting doesn't even care. Would that be true of that person? I don't know but I say maybe.

Presently, I know it's possible to think that both parties don't even care. Maybe the party felt that they deserved it. And, the person who got hurt also doesn't even care or one may act that part of not caring. I'm thinking that is when we may come across some really prideful people. Am I making you picture people right now that fit the bill?

I know that, along with myself, I am picturing some people.  However, I'm not going to call them out or embarrass them. I just want you guys to notice and see that there may be people out there who just want to know that you care.

Encouraging thought of the day:

Why don't you tell your loved one that you care for them?

Proverbs 28:13 ESV

Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

1 Peter 5:6-7 ESV

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Matthew 6:14-15 ESV

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
