Good morning and happy Friday to you all! I just realized something as I was putting my title. LOL. Motivation was the name of this one dude who works at Bally's Total Fitness but is now called LA Fitness. I guess he was motivated to try to get me to be one of his clients as he was a personal trainer. Anyway just a random thought. :-).
Anyhow, today I want to speak about the act of motivation. Motivation is like that of an internal push that is positive because it will help you achieve your goal.
I know of a college student who in the past was told they are not able to graduate because they were short a few credit hours? This college student who was told by the professor they would not be able to graduate because this student was missing so much credit hours. I don't know about you guys but if my professor told me I wasn't going to graduate on time that would totally motivate me to figure out what to do so I would still be able to graduate. Well, this person spoke with the professor, and the professor gave a project that if finished this person may add the credit hours and would be able to graduate. On time. I'm sure this person was feeling pretty blessed. I won't go into too much detail. But I do know that the offering of an extra assignment to gain more credit hours so one could graduate was pretty darn nice of this professor. This person, many years later, can now call themselves a college graduate!
Motivation is a seriously good feeling for anyone to have. I am just thinking that we humans need to feel like that sometimes. God knows when to give us a boost of not human but spiritual energy.
Do you guys have that same passion and energy to tell people about God? I am thinking that feeling is what all of us children of God need to have. I want to share something that happened to me this morning...
Encouraging thought of the day!
"Hold up I have to stop what I am doing like getting ready and doing my exercises and just say thanks to God. Friends, I asked God for help this morning with cutting my nails and not hurting myself. Wow, thank you Jesus! I got on my stomach on the bed to make sure I had stability. It took some time and continued prayer but I balanced the nail cutter in a position where it rested on one closed eye lid and I did it! Lol people can't picture it but that's ok! The important thing to know is that I asked God for help and he helped me! And, I did not have to bother Joe while he was reading his devotion and exercising. I did it all by myself!!!! Hope this encouraged you!"
