Friday!

Before I start this morning, I just want to give a shout out to Aditi. She was a nice lady yesterday I was able to give my card to. I also want to say hello to Jenna. She's a lady I met earlier this morning who I gave a card to. I'm praying that you will be encouraged by my writings. Have a blessed day!

Probably the majority of the human race like Fridays and prefers Fridays as the best day of the week. Am I right in what I'm thinking? Today is actually Friday. So, happy Friday! Well, would you look at that. I am even acknowledging that it is Friday and even putting a positive tone in the greeting before the word. I don't think I would say or most people would say happy Monday. I don't have to tell you guys why most people don't like Mondays.

Why did the Lord just put that in my mind to write about? Let me think for a second. Oh, okay I think we need to like ANY day the good Lord will let us go through. I'm thinking we need to think of it as a time to thank the Lord for our blessings.  To reiterate, every day that we get definitely is a blessing!

Now I'm thinking with each day that the Lord gives us, we have an opportunity to introduce others to Jesus Christ. Whether it be Monday or Friday or Saturday, take heart that we were given a day to do the Lord's work.

I appreciate when I go to Starbucks on Fridays and talk to people. Everyone is in better moods.  Well not today, probably because it is raining. But again, take heart and be encouraged because I think that we should love any day of the week. Any day of the week we probably should be doing the Lord's work of trying to bring people to know him and making other people see Jesus Through Your Life! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday!!!!

Encouraging thought of the day:

No matter what day of the week, smile because Jesus loves you!

James 5:13 ESV

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

Hebrews 13:5 ESV

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
