I think I brought up the subject before and asked you guys if you talk to God or vice versa. Well, I don't like verbally have a conversation with him. No, if that ever happened, I would be literally frightened because that would be the evil one. Watch out for that! Remember, Satan does have power. BUT, not more than God.
So, God speaks words by putting them in our minds and what do we humans do? Well, I can't speak for everyone. However, I can speak for myself. And, some of the times not all but sometimes, I just don't want to hear it. I think deep down I do hear it but what comes out is a feeling of wanting to ignore what I heard. Was it a good thought? Well then we probably should not ignore it.
We have to be really careful of the evil one. He cannot read our minds like God can. But he can hear us. So, when we are trying to renounce or rebuke the evil one, say it out loud!
One thing that my pastor told me before that really sparked my interest was this. Satan can read our nonverbal actions. So, I'm thinking that if one is about to consume drugs, orally or bodily with the shot? I don't really know I don't do drugs! LOL. Anyway the point I'm trying to make is that the evil one will be in your thoughts, whispering in your ears and is egging you on to fail and fall into sin. If the thought you were getting in your mind sounds bad, I don't think that that would be from God. Don't listen to bad thoughts that enter your mind.
Anyway, all the way up to the second you are about to pop the pill in your mouth evil will be in your thoughts and whispering in your ear. I also believe if you're with others the evil one is in their ears using them to egg you on as well and finish the deed. Again, we must ignore it.
Every morning I get up super early. I know that it has been and will always be God waking me up. I don't even have an alarm. I think he wakes me up that early because that is when I have the most strength. So, I use that strength to help me shower, do my makeup get dressed, all the essentials for the morning I have to get ready to go out. There are times after I shower when I feel too weak to go back to the bedroom. Then God will say to my heart to call Joe and ask him for help or rest for a while and then go. One time I didn't listen and I went to the room. I was about to sit down and then boom I fell. I need to stop ignoring God.
Friends, if you know God, you know what I'm talking about. He speaks to our heart and thoughts. And the evil one will softly whisper bad, conniving manipulating thoughts in your mind. Rebuke the devil in Jesus' name!
Encouraging thought of the day:
Smile for me right now. You are beautiful when you smile. You are handsome when you smile. So friend, can you just smile for me?
Ephesians 6:11 ESV
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:4 ESV
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
