Here at the condo, I was contacted a few weeks ago because I was being offered garage parking. I told my husband and asked his thoughts. He pointed out that it would not be good for us. The whole cramped traveling spaces just to get to the garage downstairs with my wheelchair would be a manic daily headache we really could do without.
One thing I really noticed and I know the Lord really wanted me to notice was that we would no longer see the doormen. You guys are probably thinking what's wrong if you don't see the doorman? Joe said we wouldn't see Juan anymore.
Early in the mornings before we leave for the day, Juan sometimes tells us the Lord spoke to his heart and he wanted to pray for us before we left. He would grab mine and Joe's shoulders and get into a little huddle and just pray for us! Praise God for our brother in Christ, Juan!
We turned down the parking in the garage. The evil one wanted us to take it, I'm sure. However, praise God for speaking to our hearts and telling us not to! You know what? Weeks after we turned down the parking, a handicapped door was put in the front of the building where I usually leave from. Isn't that cool?
I guess what I really am trying to make you guys realize is this. The evil one is watching our lives. And, he is just waiting for that little opening where he can devour our innocence in our Christian walk with God! Seriously, the initial thought may seem very beneficial and a "must do" type of thing. But, I will definitely say to you guys that you must keep praying and wait for the Lord to speak to your heart.
Have a very awesome, blessed, and great Saturday!
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
