Lukewarm

Hello Ermit! There was this nice gentleman that picked up my glasses from the floor, without me even asking him. So, I gave him a card. I pray you will be encouraged by my writings everyday! I guess God wanted me to give him one of my cards. He just came out of nowhere and asked if these are my glasses. Good thing for sunglasses on the floor. :-)

Do you like your coffee lukewarm? I don't think so. Well everyone is different, but think about that.  Coffee is supposed to be hot, well, unless you ordered iced coffee. My husband orders iced coffee, usually, and the other day, the Baristas made him coffee with no ice.  Joe brought the coffee back and said he wanted iced coffee but they didn't put any ice. So, anyway they fixed that. If you would think about it, if you order an iced coffee then wouldn't it be mandatory to have ice?  Anyway..

Our beautiful God is not fond of lukewarm Christians. Christians are supposed to either be hot or cold. My husband, Joe, was actually the inspiration on this writing. Meaning, he shared his thoughts.

The Bible tells us that God hates lukewarm Christians like Joe hates lukewarm coffee. It should either be hot or cold, not in between.

Let's define a lukewarm Christian. Lukewarm Christians profess that have been converted to Christianity and have a relationship with God, but..... maybe they don't read the bible, or maybe they don't go to Church, or maybe they don't try to have a relationship with God, or maybe they don't try to bring others to Christ.  Do you get the gist?

If you are a lukewarm Christian you are not on fire for God. Friends, God does not want you to be a lukewarm Christian.  I don't want to be a lukewarm Christian myself!

However, I know sometimes I appear to be. I need to correct that. Are you guys appearing to be lukewarm Christians as well? Let's correct that.  God might spit you out!
