Some Maintenance People

Good morning! Before I publish my reading for the day, I forgot to give a shout out to Karen Jones. When I was trying to use the bathroom when I got home to the condo her and another lady were trying to help me get inside the door of the bathroom on the second floor before I went to my room. So, of course, I was able to offer a card.. Thank you again for your help. We need to hang out soon. I pray you will be encouraged by all of the writings.

Okay, I'm definitely not saying that the maintenance people are Gods. What I am trying to say, however, is some maintenance people carry some of Gods traits and promises, but with a different sense of timing. I know you guys must be lost. I will explain.

For a little more than 10 years I have become an early bird. No, let me rephrase. I have become a very, very, very, very, very, early bird. I kid you not, no matter what time I sleep at night, but I do try to sleep at 10, but no matter what time I sleep at night, I will wake up 3 a.m. or maybe a little earlier. People who see me in the morning are amazed and shocked because I am so energetic, my facial features are glowing, I have no bags under my eyes, and I don't look like I just got about 5 hours of sleep. Guys, I'm even alert enough to even do my verbal writing on my phone. As a matter of fact, even if everything is not published in the morning. I always do my writings in the morning. It's the editing and publishing that give me problems, sometimes.

To that, I say, the Lord has people in mind and he wants to use me for encouragement to them. So thank you Lord and you're welcome to any people who are encouraged by one of my writings.

All I can say to that is, God is the one that wakes me up. I don't even have an alarm. If you ask God to use you, don't be surprised of what he will do. He just might take you out of your comfort zone. Look, he did that for me. I was satisfied waking up at 11 a.m. on a non-work day. Now, it's not like that at all. Most of the times, God decides to wake me up 3 am. Remember, that goes for any day. And, be encouraged he will give you all the strength and the help to do it. In the beginning of the sudden early wake-ups, believe me I wasn't a happy camper. I guess the Lord spoke to my husband's heart within years because now he is an early bird too. When I used to be up all early I thought I would be waking him up, but the Lord made sure he was rested.

Why am I sharing this with you guys? Well, my writing is about how I believe there are some maintenance people, specifically in my condo building that share some of God's qualities but differ in timing.

I believe God is using me to wake up early and to do certain things for him, one example is this blog. And, there's this one maintenance lady that will always help me out if I need the help. I so appreciate that and I'm blessed that the Lord provided her. And, thank you God for giving me so much strength in the early morning so I wouldn't need help from others who obviously would still probably be in bed. The Lord knew to give me strength to do all my necessary ADA's like showering before Joe's alarm went off.

So, this one lady is definitely open and always available to help me if she's working in the building, that is. Remember what I was saying before about me being an early bird? Well, I'm not going to expect her to drive over to the condo during "Not Work" hours to come to my aid. I know she will help me, but there are time restrictions.

Now, let's look at God. There's not much to say. Really it's if we need help, then we ask and call out to God. He says he will help us, physically or literally.  Maybe not right away. Remember it is always in his timing, which is always the perfect timing. God will help us to be able to endure any discomforts we may have. Do you believe that? Thank you Jesus for always being our help!

Encouraging thought of the day:

Take heart, we can always trust and be encouraged by the word of God!!

Matthew 6:31-32 ESV

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.

Habakkuk 2:3 ESV

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Philippians 4:19 ESV

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
