This I Guarantee.....

Happy early Thursday or as a cool man I used to see all the time, Mike, calls it, Happy Friday's Eve! I miss that guy! Let's get on to my writing this Thursday!

Okay, who here ever will hear people say something like, "that person must be filled with the Holy Ghost!" Do you ever hear someone say that or maybe you yourself even feel that sometimes.  My deep thoughts.....

First question. Do I believe that is a possibility? Answer. Yes. Well, if one is truly a believer of Jesus Christ, then I believe, because he said it in his word that after Jesus Christ was crucified, then he appeared to his disciples. He did promise them something. He said he was leaving and going back to the father but he will give us the Holy Spirit to help guide his children through life. Listen to what I am saying. We, if we are a true believer in Christ have the Holy Spirit living inside of us. Christians, do you suddenly feel severely convicted over something ever? I believe that is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is trying to wake you up and somehow leave whatever sin you are partaking in.

What is it I'm talking about that I totally guarantee? Let me give you a little illustration that you can picture in your mind. Hope this helps. For the believer, unbeliever, or just any guest that may be a participant of the church service one morning.

You look to possibly the left side of you kitty corner, all the way in the front row of the sanctuary and see two people. A gentlemen and a woman coming to adulthood years and you are a little surprised because your eyes cannot leave the sight. Why is that? Whatever could they be doing?

Nothing out of the ordinary. They are just two people in the church service, part of the congregation, standing up with their hands in the air giving praise to our Lord Jesus Christ! The words of the song that is playing has captivated their hearts! Friends, I'm thinking those people are probably filled with the Holy Spirit!

See, when we are filled with the Holy Spirit it is as if we are isolated from that which is in the world, and just completely engulfed and focused on the glory of God! Are you a Believer and find yourself getting into those kind of Godly spells? Fellow Believers you know exactly what I'm talking about. You know what?

Now, I'm thinking like on Sunday mornings when we are all at the Lord's House giving him praise through our means of worship, the Lord absolutely loves that! Let's understand something. God is omnipresent. That means he is with all of His children all the time. So, imagine that church service with so many people practically like "high" for lack of a better word, lol on Jesus Christ! To reiterate, God will probably love that then and he says that he will love that in the future when we see him face to face.

I'm thinking there are also many times when the evil ones try to also wake us up and pull us into their wicked spells. Be careful of that.  What I am thinking, is that when we believers get to heaven and are in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, this is what I guarantee. I guarantee an eternity of singing praises and standing in awe of the amazing glory and presence of Jesus Christ!

Encouraging thought of the day:

Give praise to Jesus for who he is!

Chris Tomlin: Good. Good Father

John 14:26 ESV

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Romans 8:26 ESV

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Acts 2:38 ESV

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

John 14:15-31New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me.Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that dayyou will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all thingsand will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. 30 I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this worldis coming. He has no hold over me, 31 but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.
“Come now; let us leave.
