Many of you know because I've said it over and over that me and my husband are, for personal reasons, going through the book The Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson.
If anyone of you guys wants to be free from bondage about anything, I suggest you read this book. I've said it numerous times, the devil is out there crawling around looking for the next person he wants to attack.
One very important thing that the evil one focuses on is this: our vulnerabilities. It sucks because it can really damage relationships. If you are very susceptible to having bad language during driving and encounter bad drivers, you better believe the evil one is going to focus on your road rage. Actually the road rage would probably get intense maybe it might even get dangerous.
Haven't you heard of those people killing people in the theater because they were talking during the movie? Haven't you heard of people shooting people because of their road rage and their inability to relax when exposed to bad drivers? It's sad and it really is not necessary and it should stop. I don't want to hear about it a lot in the news, but even the once or twice should be a huge wake-up call!
So what we learned yesterday was to realize your situation, rebuke and renounce the evil one, and call on the name of Jesus. Friends there really is power in the name of Jesus. I have a friend and I will call her T. Whenever I am in the car with this person and she is driving I have never seen such a patient driver like her! When I used to drive I was definitely not a patient driver. I think that's probably why I don't drive anymore Well, that's just a guess. I really don't know for sure.
But usually when another driver will calls you off, people may respond and blurt out coarse and vulgar language. I've heard other people wishing those people will die. However, not T. She would, in a calm voice, say something like,"well buddy I guess you're in a hurry to go somewhere?"
Wow I know right? Would you guys be able to do that? In the spur of the moment I don't think I'd say something nice like that if I was the one driving. But, you know what? We don't know what is going on in the other driver's mind. We don't know why that person is driving crazy. Maybe they're in a hurry to go home because they just found out their spouse is dying or had a terrible accident and needs help right away. Maybe that driver has a lot of things in his or her mind and is about ready to commit suicide. Again, we don't know.
What are you susceptible to? Think about that and realize that the evil one is going to target that in order to make you sin. I don't have a formula to make you stop with a road rage or whatever you are vulnerable to, but I do have advice to give. In that situation, tell Satan out loud to get away from you because you are a child of God! And you don't have to fall into sin! You don't have to give birth to the sin. I repeat call on God for help! ASAP!
