Really Should Not and Cannot Do That

Happy Tuesday! Now you guys are probably thinking, "what the heck is Sam talking about?"  I know.  I know, there are a lot of things...

I once again have a smile on my face and just feel so encouraged! So, let me tell you what happened. The Lord was telling me to get the attention of this one girl that I've never seen before. I was being stubborn but then I noticed her again. And this time, I obeyed. So I called her over to me and it turns out her name is Sam also. :-)  And, she's actually just training in this Starbucks until about August and then she'll be going to a different store. Anyway so I gave her one of my cards and so I pray you'll be encouraged, Sam!  It was so nice meeting you Sam!

Okay, now time to get back to the writing for the day! All right, so I want to focus on the fact that we humans here on Earth cannot, should not, really should never try this.  I'm talking about the times where we try to hide something from God, maybe involuntary or voluntary. Do you guys know what I'm talking about? We've been there!

You know what I'm thinking?  The whole hiding something from God thing started a long time ago. What I'm thinking is the story in the Old Testament of Cain and Abel. The story really was about Cane killing his brother Abel.  And, when the deed was done, he actually thought he could hide it from God. Maybe, similar to today's world, humans can hide the bad things they have done from other humans. However, eventually, we just don't know the time, the truth will come out. God will make sure of that. It may not come out literally to other people but God will ensure something happens. That's my deep thought.

So the bottom line is if you didn't know, now you know.  And that is we cannot hide anything from God. So don't even try. It's really going to be a waste of time.  I'm thinking we should use that time for praying and maybe asking God for help and wisdom and strength and if the deed was already done, it's time to ask for forgiveness.
