Don't Want To Know Because

Morning DT readers!, I had to say an extra prayer about writing this topic today. First of all I didn't even know how to title it. Then the Lord put in my heart the title, "Don't want to know. Because......," It's so amazing to me when I ask the Lord for help in doing something like figuring out my title and after prayer he does help me!

When I'm at Starbucks, the airport, or really anywhere where I want to share my cards, I get a mixture of responses. Some, very positive and some are very negative. Some people are just downright mean about it. Some people are so uplifting and encouraging to speak with!

There was this one incident where I wanted to speak to this person and possibly share my testimony and Lord willing this person would be accepting of Christ! However, I didn't even get to the point of opening a conversation of my own love for Christ. This person said to me they didn't want to hear anything because they didn't want to change their religion.

Wow, I can just imagine the evil one hovering over us watching with evil grinning. He may have won this time, however I believe with continual prayer, the mind of this person may change. Or, it may not. That, I don't know. That, only God knows.  My job is to want to share this gift.

Is that how you feel? If you are not a born again Christian believer that is? Well, there are some people including this person that believe in God, but are not truly genuine Christian Believers of God. How do I know that? Of course I don't know that, for sure. I'm pretty sure that when I get to heaven I will be shocked by who I see. And, that's awesome!  The only way I can make a hunch about where there life after death lies is by what I see in their life.

Do I see someone who is a true born again Christian believer? Do I see someone who sees the Bible as the bread of life? Someone who reads the Bible and study the and applies the teachings of the Bible to their lives? Do I see someone who understands that our lives are entirely up to the will of God? Someone who loves Jesus and has such a heart of wanting to know more about him and what his will is for our lives? And, do I see someone who has a passion for sharing Jesus with people?  Utilizing their gifts for God is good too!

It's so awesome because God also puts in our heart if we are talking head-on with a born-again Christian believer. I felt it and it is awesome! I think I shared this before. But one time I was at Starbucks, and I was offering my car to this girl who was in line and she took her a card. She read a little bit about it and she told me straight out she was a believer too. And I felt that she truly was. And we ended up hugging at Starbucks lol

I guess all I can advise on is to change your mindset of not wanting to know when you are being approached by someone wanting to share the gospel with you. Do not let Satan win! No thank God brought that special person your way to talk about him because God cares about you!

Reset your mind to not thinking about not wanting to know about the gospel because you don't want to change your current religion. God knows your heart. God knows if you are not truly a Christian believer. You may not have to change your religion or you may I have no idea but maybe God wants you to change how you think about him. Maybe God wants you to have a relationship with him. Wait. Not maybe. Of course he wants you to have a relationship with him!

Matthew 28:19 ESV

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Matthew 24:14 ESV

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Psalm 96:3 ESV

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
