So, when he reminded me of that, it started to really make sense. Of course, we should definitely have knowledge of the word of God in our head but we should also combine that with passion from the relationship we get and choose to have with God.
I'll give you an example. Okay, so you know I give my cards out usually at Starbucks. And, I give them out to people I do not know. Well, there was this one time I offered my card to this lady. She looked at it and saw the Bible verse and told me she was a believer too. And, it truly is beautiful when the Lord brings his people together. Me and her were hugging at Starbucks!
So, again with that other situation that I'm talking about, the reality is I just don't feel it. So here she has the head knowledge and it's wonderful, but there is no passion regarding the relationship with Jesus Christ. I have no idea if that is going to grow. But I definitely agree that having the head knowledge of Jesus Christ is a good starting point. However, I'm just saying that it isn't enough. God knows it and he is waiting for us to ask him to give us that passion we so need. But, I'll also be careful because Satan knows it and he will confuse us and make us think that the head knowledge is all we need in a relationship with Jesus Christ. And now you know it.
