Jesus Is Hugging His Kids Because He Loves Us

This is not even a subject that I have prepared in my list of subjects. This is a subject that I think God is putting in my heart right now because I need it. Here goes.

God is hugging me.  I'm not saying I'm crazy and I can like actually feel his touch on my shoulders or back. However it's just something I know. You just know that he's doing it because he's just awesome. That's the kind of God he is!  He can see if his son or his daughter is crying. He can see if his son or his daughter is sad. He can see all the bad that we might be going through. And, he actually feels it.

Sometimes I honestly forget that what he did on the cross for us was take all of the tears, the heartache, the sadness, all the bad stuff was taken with him on that cross that instant he was crucified for our sins.

Wow, I needed that. You might have needed that too. That was a reminder of what God did for us. That was a reminder that we don't need to be sad or angry or bitter or harsh or sad (again). Thank you Jesus for putting this into my heart this morning. You truly are hugging me because you love me!

Chris Tomlin: Jesus Loves Me

Psalm 56:8 ESV

You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?

Revelation 21:4 ESV

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
