Born Again

First of all, good morning. It's actually not even 6 yet. But, since my husband had to work extra early today since he didn't work yesterday when his boss asked him to, my husband, the loyal worker started 5 today. Yesterday, me and his mom threw him a surprise birthday party here in the party room at the condo. It was a success. He was so surprised. He was really adamant about going to work but, since I had to get him to the surprise party, he couldn't work. The surprise was a success thank God! Joe was so focused on work, it was both easy to get him to his surprise party and very hard. Anyways the bottom line is it was a success. So that's that. :-) Now, time to dive into my writing early this morning.

Do you guys know the meaning of Born Again? Please understand, I'm not saying you're stupid and you don't know what those two words mean if put together. All I'm saying is well do you know what the words born again Christian believer means?

I hope that makes a little bit more sense. It's okay, because I didn't know what it meant until I became one.  Now, that I'm a born again Christian believer my ears are really open to hearing when non-believers profess to be born again Christian believers. Are you like that?

And that's okay to admit if you are. Before I became a born-again Christian believer truly I dare not say that I was a born again. I don't know when I was younger I remember being kind of like really standoffish about the topic of being a born-again. When I would hear people are born again they would like totally confuse me and turn me off.

At the time when I wasn't a born again Christian believer, I believe there were people around me who professed to be true Born Again Christians. And considering I wasn't born again, I really was kind of standoffish with the subject and I really didn't care.

I remember talking to my aunt who did introduce me to Christ eventually. But,Christ before I became a born-again Christian our thoughts differed. One thing I remember was being so fascinated by apparitions. But my aunt, again because she was a true born again Christian believer and knew the Bible really didn't care. And, I honestly did not understand why she didn't care.

Friends, of course, we cannot go back in our mother's womb to have rebirth that way. Being born again as a true Christian believer means letting go and removing your old self and replacing your old ragged and dirty body with a spiritual body, all by the grace of God.

Converting to being a born-again Christian doesn't necessarily mean changing religions. Saying that you are born again would involve your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Once you become born again, those sins that you committed in your past, present, and even future will be washed away! All you have to do is invite Jesus to come into your life and be your personal friend.

Have you embraced Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior and asked him to come live in your heart and walk with you through life? Have you thanked God for giving Jesus who made the choice to die on the cross for your salvation? Have you acknowledged that you are a sinner and did you ask for forgiveness from Jesus Christ and know that you are now forgiven for every sin. Are you assured of your salvation? Meaning, are you assured that if you were to die right now you would go to heaven and be with Jesus for eternity? If you believe all of that then you are a born again Christian believer truly. If you don't, then you don't. But I hope you accept the gift that Jesus has given to all of us.

Third Day: Born Again

John 3:3 ESV

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Romans 6:4 ESV

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
