It Takes Time

What Sam? What exactly are we talking about that takes time? That is such a vague topic. Anything takes time. But what am I talking about?

I know I could be talking about basically anything because there are a lot of things that take time. But for this writing. I said something earlier to my husband before he left for work something to the effect of why is (blank) doing so horrible? Well, not in so many words. But that was pretty much the gist.

You know what my husband said? Joe said well we are not perfect. Yeah, I knew that I know that but I guess it was a good reminder to hear that because sometimes we just forget and we act like we feel the total opposite. So, yeah it was a good reminder to hear from him I guess.

We really don't know when God is going to do this or that when God is going to allow us to finally be able to do this or that. I wish we knew but we don't. And, because that is so we have to truly tell ourselves that it takes time. More like it takes God's time.

Believe me I know it is so difficult to wait and wait and be patient waiting for that time you want to see change. My thinking is that God is allowing all of that waiting because he is using that to help us grow. For example, with this instance let's ask ourselves are we pretty "patient" people?

Well, personally for me, the answer is not really. So, my thinking is God is working on me to become a more patient person. I don't know what God is putting in your hearts but think about it. Think about what your situation is now and how it can help you grow in your walk with God. Remember patience is one of the fruits of the spirit. :-)

Encouraging thought of the day:

Have patience, God will help you be able to wait just ask Him for help!

Amy Grant: It Takes A Little Time

Romans 12:12 ESV

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Romans 8:25 ESV

But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Psalm 37:7-9 ESV

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.
