WHAT?!?!?!?!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I know of someone who has a pretty far out guilty pleasure, I guess that's what you can call it? First of all, I just want to say that I think each and every person in this world has that one distinct characteristic about themselves. I have something, you have something she has something he has something. We all do. This person I know doesn't know why but this person gets guilty pleasure in seeing zits being popped.

This person will go on YouTube and sit down for some time and just do some research so they can find a video of zits being popped. They like to see the real gross type of zits that just need to be popped.

To reiterate, everyone has their own distinct guilty pleasure. And, that is okay. Yeah when I found out about my friends guilty pleasure, I was kind of grossed out and thought that's weird, and maybe ew! However that's my friend. It's not going to make me change how I feel about this person. If that's what they enjoy doing, then that's what they enjoy doing. I still got nothing but love for this person!

Aren't you glad that God is the same way? I don't mean about the zit thing. I mean God loves all of us the same. He loves everything about us. He loves the ups that we do and our downfalls that we do. He loves what makes us normal. And, he loves what makes us appear weird sometimes!

You know what I think of? I think of the Bible story of Jacob's daughters Leah and Rachel. See Rachel was the beautiful daughter that everyone loved and wanted to marry. Leah was just your normal plain Jane that wasn't considered strikingly gorgeous like Rachel. Even though nobody on Earth noticed or loved Leia like they did Rachel,  the Lord loved her so much because he saw her inner beauty!

So, I guess what I'm trying to point out is that no matter how you appear from the outside, we need to remember that God Will Always Love You for what you are about on the inside and for what you are all about on the outside too!

Encouraging thought of the day:

God loves everything about you!

Romans 5:8 ESV

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Psalm 139:13-16 ESV

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
