Before I start my writing, I need to give a shout out to two very nice gentleman I met at Starbucks last week before Thanksgiving. Hi Gill and hi to Scott! It was so nice meeting you guys, and I pray that you will be encouraged by my writings!
Yesterday, I was watching a movie that had a mini storyline and hidden message that totally reminded me of God. I have seen this movie times before, but never noticed the similarity. Let's dive in so I can share with you guys my thoughts.
The movie I'm talking about is " Elf " with Will Ferrell, Zoey Deschanal, and Mary Steenburgen amongst other well known actors and actresses. I really felt like God wanted me to watch this movie again. And, now I know why.
The overall obvious message this movie was trying to convey to its audience was that because less and less people were believing in Santa Claus the spirit of Christmas cheer was dying. A line from the movie but not verbatim, only having a similar context was, the only way to spread Christmas cheer is to use your voice for all to hear.
Friends, you know what I am getting from that? The world we live in is slowly dying because many years ago sin made its appearance and was gladly welcomed into this world. Fellow Christians who are truly believers we need to utilize our voices and speak up for Jesus! We need to use our voices and tell the world about Jesus. That's what I got folks! Isn't that a pretty cool thought? Personally, it's a great reminder for me. And, fellow Christians, I hope it is a great reminder for you guys as well! Have a wonderful Saturday!
Encouraging thought of the day:
We need to utilize what the great God gave us, our voices! And, start singing or just speaking and praising God!
