Soccer

This reading was written early Sunday morning. :-)
Happy Sunday to all my beautiful DT readers. I actually woke up this morning thinking it was Monday. Seconds later I realized it was Sunday! Time to write!

After being with somebody so long, you think you know everything about a person. See, that's what I thought about my husband until he told me something.

Yesterday. I can't remember how we got on the subject but he ended up telling me he used to play soccer when he was in high school. He used to. I don't think it lasted very long because he said it didn't last very long. In his words reason being, "They made us run too much.  It was too hard."

After he said his last sentence, my mind immediately thought this would be great for my blog! God totally put some thoughts into my mind I know would be great for a writing. What am I thinking now?

Well, it's 6:27, Joe is sleeping peacefully to the left of me, I think I'm feeling a bit hungry..... Oh, you guys are probably thinking what do I mean about my writing huh? I know I'm just being silly. :)

Okay back to the writing at hand. I'm thinking when things get hard sometimes in our lives, I don't think God wants us to drop what we feel God wants us to do in our lives like a hot potato and immediately give up because we think it's too hard.

God may sometimes want us to work hard, perhaps, sweat a little, so to speak. Of course, we always want to go the easy way, but sometimes I think God wants us to work at things a little harder than go that easy way.

Right now I am thinking God paved the way for you to have an education. Please think about this. It makes sense. If you are in school, God is not going to just hand you the A+ for your exams, or essays, or something of the like.

So, if God is not just going to give you the good grade how do you think you're going to get that good grade? The answer is you're going to have to work hard if you want to get that good grade! Operative word being work and operative word being hard! See how my husband's soccer story totally worked?! Have a great Monday!

Encouraging Thought Of The Day:

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
