For those of you who do know Jesus, let me ask you a question. Can you think of how God used you this year? How has he opened the door of faith for someone you know or don't know and love?
I have written in the past about other people always having their eyes open. Personally, for me, the next thing I'm about to say is kind of a blessing because it gives encouragement that my writings are being read.
What I mean is I don't know how it is with everyone who reads my stuff, but if 1 or more than one person is calling me out when I am not "walking what I write," that at the same time will both make me upset but will also encourage me.
I know that it may sound a bit confusing. But, think long and hard and let God speak to your heart! For most of us, this year his been about some bumps and bruises, happy times, times filled with joy, and really all of the above kind of times. ( I mean different types of emotions.)
Another way for me to answer that question I asked before? ( How has he opened the door of faith for someone you know or don't really know?) Well, duh how about the writings of this blog and the passing out of my business cards with information about my blog and other sites I have made to encourage others? Most effectively, personally handing out my cards either if people will see a smile or if I communicate encouraging words like over the phone!
You guys know what really encouraged me this year? Aside from my 50000 plus number of viewers? And, the number is still going! However, aside from that I am so encouraged when any one of my readers let me know they like my reading and click at the very bottom G+1 . I also appreciate when people especially people I don't even know leave me comments that are encouraging to me. One comment was from a person, probably someone at Starbucks. This person said "That they wished more people would take the time to write about what I write about to encourage people. They really appreciated what I do and to keep on doing this!"
People need not worry I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing with this blog until the Lord tells me I'm done! Thank you all for being such devoted readers of my blog! I will continue to pray for all of you that you will be encouraged by these writings! Type to you next year!
Matthew 28:16-20New International Version (NIV)
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teachingthem to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with youalways, to the very end of age.
