Today is the best day ever! Because it is December 25th aka the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ! Hope everyone will enjoy their day today!
Some of you may choose not to be gift givers around Christmas time. Maybe due to needing to save up money for something one really needs? Perhaps, some just don't have the money to spend some years? I don't know. It could be any reason really.
Personally, this year my husband and I told one anorher that we both were not going to give each other gifts this year. That meant Joe wasn't going to shower me with expensive presents. Or I wasn't allowed to get him his favorite ( Star Wars things amongst other stuff.) We both were cool with that. For me any day of the week he surprises me with a beautiful gift is a special and memorable day for me. I know it is from his heart. I feel it. ( Naks Naman.) Lol :D
A few days ago Joe gave me something, I guess you can call my Christmas gift well not really. But, I did just utilize it for the first time this morning while I was reading one of my devotions. And, it is Christmas...
Anyway, what I'm talking about is this. Well,1st of all can you believe this is mine and Joe's 18th Christmas together. Like I said earlier for many, many years this man would lavish me with extravagant, beautiful extraordinary, and most probably very expensive presents.
This year, earlier this week, Joe surprised me with headphones. Not normal headphones. No. Cute pink headphones that are not too long of a cord. Maybe, like as long as little past your neck.
I was absolutely giddy and beaming with happines! I hope I didn't wake up Joe or the people behind the walls in the next door condo as I had yelled out, "I love this!" Why do I love this so much?
Because, it's a gift that Joe gave me that showed Joe was really listening and he really cares! Sometimes it is kinda difficult to tell whether or not he is listening. That can be frustrating, oh well.
See, I have problems with the regular long cord headphones for various reasons. For me: Not Anymore! God knew what I needed And, He spoke to Joe's heart to provide it! Thank you God! And, thank you Joe! Deep Thought out! Have a merry merry Christmas!
