Absence Of Fear: Joy

Wouldn't we all want that in our lives?  Seriously? Can you imagine not having to be scared about anything? Seriously, wouldn't that be cool? You would not have to be scared about keeping your life safe from the bad people!  You wouldn't have to be scared of the doctors diagnosing you with a disease like cancer or any other terminal disease!

Friends, the good news is you don't have to be afraid. Jesus already gives us joy! Are you at a point where you're suffering? And definitely do not feel joy? As for me I think I am OK right now. However, there are many times I do not feel joy!  We humans are not superhuman where we can just eliminate our feelings of fear and just have joy all the time!  You guys feel what I am  saying?

How exactly do you personally  define joy? Is it from shopping at your favorite store and buying a really hot outfit?  Or, is it about buying that Masarati?

That is all temporary joy. Who really wants joy that is temporary? If you are like me the joy I got from buying my hot outfit usually lasts until I am done wearing it for the 1st time. Then,  it gets stored way back in my closet, neglected for years because I forgot about it.  I can forget that I had it.  I am pretty sure I'm not alone on this one.  Right ladies? Right gentleman? 

So. that's temporary joy
