I gave my writing the title for the day "In Yo Face!" Why does Sam sound so mean today? Is that what you guys might be thinking? Lol I don't know why, but I'm kinda thinking that's what the Lord may be tempted to say to us sometimes. You know what I mean? I don't know. I don't even think God can be tempted, though. Anyways I hope you guys get what I'm trying to say.
Picture it like God is saying in a nice way something with the same context of "In yo face!" This goes out to all the doubters out there. And that's including me. I don't know about you guys, specifically. For me, yes, I doubt. But, I will say I don't do it as much as I used to. However, I just know I still do it. I definitely will not take credit for why my doubting has decreased. God totally helped me out with that. But he didn't make me stop doubting all the way. It needed to be my choice to want to stop.
Pause break! My cop friend and his wife just stopped by and chatted with me and Aundrewell. I gave a card to Barbara. I pray you will be encouraged my writings.
Ok, if you are a doubter of all of what God can do, I suggest to start praying for faith, and reading, and meditating on God's words and promises to us. Do you really want him to say to us "In your face!?"
Encouraging thought for the day:
A smile can brighten someone's day.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
James 1:6 ESV
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
Matthew 21:21 ESV
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
