The Christmas Color

What is a Christmas color? I'm thinking you guys were thinking red or possibly green. Right? Yes, those are the colors that would usually go with a Christmas theme.  I was thinking out of those two colors one of them stood out a little bit more. I guess you could say green because of the Christmas tree? No please don't be fooled by that thought!

I was actually thinking of the color red. Red is the color that would totally describe the blood that poured out from his body when Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. Friends, we shouldn't remember the color of Christmas being red because it is the color of Santa's suit. No, it is red because it is a reminder of the pain and agony Jesus Christ went through so that we would all have life!

Do you know what I'm saying? It's so sad because so many people nowadays are so blinded by what the true meaning of Christmas is.  Friends, December 25th is the birth day of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. He left his awesome home in heaven and came down to Earth. He suffered and died for all of us so that we would live and then have eternal life! Red is the color of Christmas.

John 1:14 ESV

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Matthew 1:21 ESV

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

Matthew 26:28 ESV

For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
