Genesis Series Part 15: How Did He Know?

Some days ago Joe and I were in a little disagreement. Who am I kidding? More like a huge disagreement that had much yelling, swearing, harsh words and such due to frustrations, anger, you name it! Hey, we are just like any married couple. People of the like fight. Probably have many regrets later. It's normal!

Anyway, when it was time to read our 1 year Bible devotional, I know I didn't feel like reading. I doubt he felt like reading it. However, I don't remember what happened but we ended up going to the link and guess what was on the title for the Bible devotional!?

The title read " Just Relax And Let God Be God!" Yep, that pretty much woke us up! We both were like " okay I think God is trying to tell us something....' So, that made us check and quickly fix our attitudes. We did apologize to one another. So, that helped a bunch.

Friends, are you guys like me and my husband where you forget who God really is and what he promises to give us? Check it out. When we people get so busy that we just want to scream.... When our minds are just going crazy and giving us the worst headaches because of many things going on we have to tend to... When we just get so frustrated because we have so much to do and so little time... Etc. We seriously do have to relax because you know what God's got it under control and he promises to give us rest.

I don't know about you but I think it's a pretty cool thought. Have you guys tried it? I mean just stop all you are doing and be still and give it all to God! Yup all your messiness to God! I've said it numerous times before. And that is that God wants it! So please give it!

Psalm 46:10

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Mark 4:39

And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
