Good morning deep thought readers and happy Friday! I think the meaning of success in the world today totally differs from how Jesus defines it. Let me explain what I mean.
Being the successful "King or Queen bee" may mean....
1. In a financial sense. One can be heavily rolling in dough and really never goes without money, no matter what one does. Even though it's not following the teachings of Jesus.... NEGATIVE BUZZER SOUND!
2. Being in more than 1 relationship. Having more than one partner at the same time. Being an unbeliever of monogamy and lover of polygamist. Is that how one defines success? Being known as " Da Man! Or Da Woman! " Think God is pleased? NEGATIVE BUZZER SOUND!
3. Having a job that will yes pay the bills, but what exactly is it that you have to do? Maybe you are a boss and the question is what exactly is it that you as a boss are making others do? NEGATIVE BUZZER SOUND!!
Friend, one can really concoct their own definition of how they define success. The question is do you think the meaning you come up with would make God happy?
Creating us people I think would be a good way to Define a part of his success! Also creating luxuries for us and the things that decorate their world most probably made him feel successful. Remember after God created light etc he was pleased?
