Genesis Series Part 32: I'll Say It Again

Happy snowy morning! Before I dive into my writing this morning I want to give a shout out to Rebecca Tyler. She was a woman, Aundrewell met on the bus on her way home from the condo yesterday. Rebecca I pray that you would be encouraged by the writings! Yayyy Aundrewell just got here. Time for her to take over and type as I dictate.

Today has already been a roller coaster of emotions for me. It went from being sad to being frustrated then to feeling thankful and happy and now just feeling pretty much content. Hopefully, the Lord will tame my emotions down a bit so I can concentrate on my writing. Isn't God Lovely? :-)

I know that I had said it over and over. And, I apologize because I'm being so repetitive. I need to have it fully and strongly embedded in your mind, correction, in "our" mind!  Believe me, I forget sometimes too!  What is Sam talking about now? I am talking about the beautiful fact that with God, anything is possible!

Pause break I just cannot concentrate right now. Let me tell you why. So I'm feeling in my heart the knock, on my heart.  Okay the Holy Spirit wants me to say excuse me to this dude next to me and do my spiel about needing hot water and then giving him a card. However, I'm nervous! Can you believe that Sam is nervous about doing this?! Just a secret between me and you, business looking men who are on their computers here at Starbucks intimidate me. So yeah maybe you can pray about that for me LOL Because of my shyness, I might be missing out on the opportunity to share Jesus with this person through my cards! Doesn't the writing for today totally go with my little dilemma? All right with God, anything is possible.  Be right back, let me do this. Maybe when he doesn't look so busy LOL.  Okay, so I asked him.  His name was Alex. He went up to the register and said Sam needs her water. Then, John one of the workers apologized and gave me my new cup of hot water! My hands are good now! Alex, I pray that you will be encouraged by the writings. Time to continue.

Most people that know me personally will usually see me accompanied by my husband. I hate to call him this but he really is like a caregiver for me. However, he's more than that. He's my husband. He's the man that deserves all of my love and respect. My husband and I are on a team. If Love and Respect is not being shown in this team, we are going to lose and fall into the evil one's leading. And, we don't want that!

Friends, just a side note, if you are married make sure there is love and respect in your marriage. Husbands show your wives love in the way that they define love. I suggest Googling it and see what your wife's definition of love is. Wives, I suggest you do the same can and see how your husband interprets respect. Then, set some time just the two of you and talk about how you define love and respect.  I'm telling you guys to believe me you will be happily astonished! You know what? Can you let me know if you do check out what I suggested and see some drastic changes in your marriage? That would encourage me so much!

That was just a side note and hopefully, that was a very helpful thought. Okay back to my writing. Let's get back to this!  This morning here at Starbucks I get my normal stuff. But, today things needed to be different. My husband is not 100%. I don't understand why he doesn't stay home to recuperate but he says he is strong enough to go to work and I admire that about him. He has that mindset, and it just reminds me that with God anything is possible! Wow!

So, here at Starbucks, we got our normal stuff as I said earlier. Our usual iced coffee my plate and my bag for my garbage and water for my medicine. Do you recall when I said earlier that Joe was sick with a really itchy throat?  And I also said his drink was an iced coffee. Think about that for a second....

Before Joe wheeled me all the way back to my spot, I said something to him. I said, "Maybe you should have gotten hot coffee because the ice will make your throat worse. I remember he tells me that when I was sick.  Then, Eureka!  He realized that as well. I said I will stay here while you change your coffee. He went back up and Candice changed his coffee and made it hot. We are so blessed to be tight with most of the workers here. Anyway, so those of you who are pretty devoted followers and readers of these writings know something about my husband. My husband is more shy then talkative. So, yeah I suggested maybe it would be best to get hot coffee but on a normal day he would not be going up to the register to change the coffee.( Aundrewell just agreed he wouldn't) lol, I know....sometimes he.... nevermind.

I know my example was not a huge proven fact and God's ability to do anything. But, believe me, to us it is! Why exactly is Joe sick? I don't know but for some reason God allowed it. I have some guesses but I'm going to keep them to myself. You're welcome to make guesses as well.

Usually, when we go to Starbucks, Joe likes to set up everything I need on the table. Seriously, when I try to do it myself. He will just like stop me.  My husband is awesome and I appreciate how he helps me with everything. But since he was sick, Sorry dude.lol I told him to not touch anything. Not to say I don't appreciate him helping me. He understood. He knows if I get sick it will excessively worsen me. So today, I was able to do everything myself. See with God anything is possible.
TBC.......

Let me end this writing with something from my Daily Bread devotional this morning:
Norman Vincent Peale said, ‘A positive mental attitude is a belief that things are going to turn out well, and that you can overcome any kind of trouble or difficulty.’ Jesus said, ‘With God all things are possible’

Encouraging thought of the day:

When someone offers you help, swallow your pride and accept it....not just if you're sick.

Matthew 19:26 ESV

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Luke 1:37 ESV

For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Philippians 4:13 ESV

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
