What is Sam talking about today? Well let me tell you. We all know that God can basically speak to us through anything right? God can speak to you through the words of other people, through his word in the Bible, God can even speak to you from that coffee cup you're drinking out of right now. Yep, if he wanted to he can even do that. However, I don't think he would do that. Not normally, at least.
You know one way that's not a crazy way God may choose to speak to you? God can speak to you through dreams. A good example of this was shown in the movie War Room. The character of the husband fell asleep and was having a dream. In the dream, he was awoken by his wife yelling for him to help her. He runs towards his wife to find a hooded man in black, beating his wife. He runs towards the man and grabs him only to find that it is an evil version of himself. He struggles against the evil version of himself and wakes up as he fell off the bed. I'll leave you guys to develop your own thoughts on that, but if you watched the movie, you know how significant this is in the movie. I think God is trying to make him realize where his relationship with his wife is going. Something had to change.
Well, from The Book of Genesis, in the story of little Joseph, he had a dream. Remember, I spoke a little bit about him having a dream that he would be ruler over his father, and brothers, really the whole country. And, if you keep reading in the Book of Genesis about the story of Joseph, you would read that in his adult years he was exactly those things and then some.
