Genesis Series Part 35: Let You Down/Can't Navigate

Do you guys ever find yourselves in situations where you just feel rejected, treated unfairly, or just really frustrated because someone let you down? You are just really ticked off! Perhaps, you are experiencing this exact situation right now.

I remember there were a few times me and my husband would go to the store or something and then when we would come back to our car, Joe, having good eyes would notice even just a little tiny scratch on our car.  There really would be nothing he could do. So, usually he would say a little something then go on with the rest of the day.

”Wisdom has been defined as ‘the art of steering’. As you go through life, you will need to navigate many tight situations that require great wisdom in order to avoid damaging yourself or others." (1 year Bible)

Joseph went through a lot in his early 30s. He had to navigate through a lot of tight situations. Navigating incorrectly could really stress you out. That's what other people who were in Joseph's life did to him. And, Joseph really had to just swallow his pride and that's what he did. Wow, even after all the crap this man had to go through and all the things that were done to him he was still so forgiving and talk about meek and biting your tongue! I wish I myself could replicate the attitude of Joseph when I get into tough situations.

TBC.................

James 1:5 ESV

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

James 3:17 ESV

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

Ephesians 5:15-17 ESV

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
