Are you a worrier? I know I am a worrier! Sometimes I worry so much, it makes me sick in the head. Seriously, you can ask my husband! In my defense, I can't help it! And as my husband would say yes you can! Which one of us is right? Me Or the husband?
I know the correct answer is the husband. Because the husband, well my husband since he is a child of God, is always going to be right. Let me explain what I mean. I can see fellow wives now confused and ready to pound on me. Remember the whole thing in the Bible about wives submitting to the husband? Sometimes from my husband's actions, I think, "who can submit to that?" The truth is, fellow wives, God commands us wives to submit to our husband. " What if they're wrong?" is that what you're thinking? Well to that I say use your common sense. If they're wrong about something that is not according to the will of God then you know what you should do. However, if they're wrong but it's not that bad and is still cool with God, God will speak to their hearts. And, the husband just might shock you with a sudden change of heart. God works miracles! Trust that. Pray about that. There have been many times my husband has been wrong about something. What are wives to do? Wives pray and wives submit!
Anyway, this is not a writing about wives submitting. This is a writing about not needing to worry! Jesus says don't worry about today. God knows what you need before you even ask. Kind of like today when I didn't know what to write about. Oh, he knew and He wanted to be funny, I guess, by letting me fall on the topic the same time the song came on in Starbucks.
So, I'm thinking Joseph from the Bible believed the promises of God. There is no mention in the story of Joseph of him worrying. He knew God did not want him to worry. Just like we should know God doesn't want us to worry. He knew God has everything under control. God knew all his needs as he knows all of our needs before we even ask!
I guess aside from God, there may be people who know you so well and they can finish your sentence. Actually, let me think about it. It's kind of like how my husband is with me. I mean, he can finish my sentences. It's like he has some kind of telepathic power over my mind sometimes. Seriously! Well, not seriously!
So yeah, don't worry about today, tomorrow, or yesterday! God knows what you need before you even ask him. That's some cool stuff!

1 Peter 5:7 ESV
Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Philippians 4:19 ESV
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 6:31-32 ESV
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
Encouraging thought of the day:
