Genesis Series Part 46: Holy Send-Off

Happy humpday! I actually had to do my writing super early. I have an appointment in a few hours, so here I am writing! Joe wants to leave for the appointment soon and we still have to finish getting ready and eat some breakfast. With that said, dear Lord can you give me speed on this?

This morning I'm going to continue my Genesis Series and speak about "Holy Send-Off "Interesting title, aye? Okay. Let's do this!

Wouldn't it be awesome if when we wake up in the morning, we just have this ability that will show in our minds what we're doing for the whole day? Or, before we get out the door somebody will come over and bring us the itinerary for our whole day? At 9, you will be doing this.  At 9:30, you'll be doing that, etc.

Seriously, wouldn't it be cool if God planned out our whole entire day and told us about it? We would know the obstacles we will have to go through, any problems were going to have to face, and questions we would be asked.  Basically, any challenge that would come our way.  It would be cool because we would be prepared!

Yeah that sounds nice, but God does not work like that. We may get a plan in our minds of what we want to do with our lives, but God may want our lives to go another direction.  God doesn't work like that. I've never experienced that. But what I have found is that heavenly guidance takes a step of faith.

Do you ever find yourselves in situations where you just don't have peace with what you're doing? I'm thinking of when I was in a certain relationship where there wasn't a feeling of "this is right." God will do that and make you feel odd and the end result will be a breakup. Or, maybe you're in a job. Do you ever find yourself in situations where you just don't have peace? You just feel like you shouldn't be there. You're lacking peace. You might get fired or you might get a offered another position. I don't know. But God will do that and take it away. God may have a totally different plan for your life.

Folk see, we have to be in the will of God and be moving according to the timing of God!  That's why the story of Joseph is so fascinating. He had so much Faith in God. In the beginning, his life really kicked him in the butt, so to speak! But, in the end the final outcome was Glory. God's glory!
