Genesis Series Part 47: God Is Always Near

Yesterday this nice lady Amber was able to get me some hot water for my cold hands. Then shortly after I spoke with this lady Jennifer who was in line and I just felt like speaking to her and gave her a card. Today, Friday it happened again my hands were starting to get cold because my first cup of hot water was getting cool. So, I asked this nice lady sitting next to me in the tall chairs, Erin, if she can just go up and say Sam needs her hot water. Thank you to these three girls and I pray you will have a great day and be encouraged by the writings! Now it's time to dive into my Friday writing!

I don't like bugs. I don't get how some people can have them as pets. Seriously? I don't like the scary looking bugs. I don't like the non-scary looking bugs. To me, bugs are scary in their own way.

My husband doesn't like bugs. At times he would just be furious with me if he caught me eating on the bed. Because that would attract bugs! Well, if I do it on the bed then I have napkins and I catch crumbs before they spread. Anyway, I want to focus on one particular bug for this writing I really don't like.

That is spiders. Just a thought of them right now just gives me a cringed looking face. My husband says he likes spiders. When he sees a spider he doesn't dare kill them because spiders will kill other bugs.

Seriously, one time Joe found a spider in the car or right outside of the car. I don't remember exactly. I know, wherever it was we didn't end up killing it. Joe just let it go run free.

Made me think I was a bad person and I should have the mindset of my husband and think that bugs are the creation of God. Therefore, we probably should not kill them. We should just let them run free. ( Starting to smile with a sarcastic look on my face bobbling my head from left to right!) Can you guys picture that? lol

Let them run free? Sure babe. More like let them run free until this happens. One time I can't remember exactly where it was but all I remember is it was close enough to make Joe scream like a girl and pretty uncomfortable. Do you think that he calmly picked it up and said, "You're free buddy!" And, let it run free? If your answer was he killed it, you have the right answer.

That really is how it goes right? You don't really worry until it's right in front of your face. Until it's to the point where we are out of our comfort zone.

Do you guys remember when I told you about the story Abraham about to slay his son Isaac as a sacrifice to the Lord? That story was kind of in the beginning chapters of Genesis. I figured we need a break from Joseph's story.

This is my deep thought for the day. We all know that God is always near us right? Right when Abraham was about to slay his son Isaac, the voice of God told him to stop don't do what he's about to do. God did not want him to kill Isaac. God was just testing Abraham and Abraham totally passed the test! Makes me wonder would I pass the test if God were to ask me to do something I wasn't comfortable doing?

Hey everybody this is Brandice for Sam Friday caregiver Sam wanted to give a shout-out to two people I gave cards to Kim and April. Sam prays that u will have a wonderful day and her writing can inspire you.
