Today I am here at Starbucks. And, while I was saying hello to my friend Gina in line, I also spoke to the gentleman who was behind her. I gave him a card as well. David, I pray you will be encouraged by the writings. Lastly, there was this girl Meghan. Girl, I pray you too will be encouraged by the writing, too. Thank you guys for just making me smile!
There's something else that made me chuckle a lot when I got to Starbucks this morning. So after me and Joe ordered his coffee, we went to our normal table like we usually do. He usually brings me to the table and then goes back and gets the coffee and hot water and stuff. But as soon as we got to the table today, it was hilarious. Probably about two or three workers, they just came to the table in a row. One of the workers, Candiace brought a hot water. John brought a plate and a bag. He even opened it up and made sure I would be able to throw my garbage away in it and a grande drinking water so I can have my medicine with it. It just was so funny because everything went so fast. Then finally, Mary came over and brought us our Spinach Feta Wrap.
My husband and I just looked at each other and started laughing. Because, we were realizing just how blessed we were. I said it out loud. I'm blessed! Joe is actually running late this morning for work. It's as if they knew, that's why they were hurrying it up. I think it it was just a little hurried up today because it was later so more people came. However, what I do know is that God was taking care of us because he knew Joe is going to be late for work! So, I'm going to write about how God provides!
I'm going to keep it general today. Let's just do a recap of how God provided for people in the book of Genesis. We've seen, first of all, how God provided by giving Adam a companion and something else to fulfill his manly needs. God did that by providing Eve. What about when Sarah was having trouble having kids? I would definitely call making Sarah have a baby a type of provision the Lord did. There are other things as well that show how God provided. How about in the life of Joseph? Need I say more?

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
Matthew 7:11 ESV
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
