Genesis Series Part 75: Conscience of Guilt

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

—Acts 3:1

Happy Monday! How are you guys doing this morning? I mean seriously. Putting the Monday blue's aside, internally how are you doing? Do you guys feel like you have a clear conscience right now or are you guys feeling a little guilty over something? I would not be surprised if the reason I'm doing this writing today is because there is one or maybe more than one reading this that totally needs to clear their conscience. Hmmm?

Perhaps, God is trying to tell you guys something. Seriously you are just not going to have a fresh or clear conscience unless you own up to what you did. Start talking the trruth! Don't you want to be free of this guilt? Aren't you sick of being haunted by the wrong you did?

You know what? Your conscience is like God's warning to you that you need to really change this or that. Stop messing around and admit what you did. Whatever it is. 

Folks, God is trying to tell you something. I don't know what it is. But, you do. And your conscience is going to keep reminding you until you make things right and fess up!

The only thing I can pick up right now in the Bible Book of Genesis is the brothers and Joseph. Remember the Brothers sold Joseph, but told their father that he was dead. I bet the Brothers had a guilty conscience. Seriously, they were probably feeling guilty every time the name Joseph came up

in their conversations with one another. Or, somebody asked about Joseph. Or, they would see a piece of Joseph's clothing. Really, anything that belongs to Joseph reminded them of the wrong they did. And look at that it took years until the truth came out! Do you want to wait that long? I think something that came from the story that we should all get is eventually the truth will come out. And, it will set you free!

Had to go back to the editing in the writing, because my hands were freezing! And I needed to give a shout out to Danielle! Thanks girl for getting me my hot water hands are feeling better! And do pray you will be encouraged by the writings!
