Genesis Series Part 80: God Is Not The One.....

Let me first begin with a shout out to Jalessa. I thought Chaime was going to be my permanent caregiver. She was awesome too! However the X didn't work for her schedule and the location. I just lived too far from her.

Wait a minute, I hope I spelled that right LOL. Jalessa is now my caregiver while Brandice is on leave because she has to get something done. But, when she comes back she'll be back with me and my new caregiver Jalessa as well. Girl thanks for staying with me and I pray you will be encouraged by my writings!

I also want to give a shout out to this lady Diane. I was actually done with my reading yesterday, hence the late shout out.Diane was in line at Starbucks yesterday morning, and I had asked her if she can get me some hot water. Diane, thank you for getting me some hot water for my cold hands and I pray you'll be encouraged by the writings! Let's do this!

Let me throw out something out there. And, you guys think about if it's something similar to how you feel sometimes. Personally, I know it's how I feel sometimes. Oh yeah, sometimes.

It's a beautiful day, and we're going about our business throughout the day. Then, all of a sudden we are struck with the temptation to do X, Y or Z. Those of you who are followers of God think why is God tempting me? Or, why is God allowing me to go through this? Depends on how you feel about temptation.

Deep thoughts on that. I think God is allowing us to be tempted because he wants to see what would be our choice. How exactly are we going to deal with this temptation? Are we going to choose to go the right way? Or, are we going choose to do the wrong thing? Quite a conundrum, I know. God does already know what we're going to decide. Because, he is God. Remember he's omniscient aka all knowing.

I think the clear answer goes all the way back to the beginning. The time of Adam and Eve. The very first temptation. The Temptation that affected the humans of the whole world. When it was just 2 humans to now.  As of 2017 the population of the world was at 7.5 million says my echo dot Alexa.

From the first chapter in the Bible, the Book of Genesis it's right there. That mean, conniving, devious, serpent, the bad side, was the one who tempted Adam and Eve.

Really fast forward to now, and we have the same thing. Evil is the one tempting us. The point is that God is Not and will never be the one that does the tempting.("Why is God tempting me!?") Is that what you may think? If so, then stop that! Please remember God is not the one tempting you!

For a repeat of the story of the fall of Man check out Genesis chapter 3.

" Call on God and he will Deliver You! He will keep Temptation far from you!"

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man, and God is faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear but when you are tempted he will provide a way out for you to stand up under it.
