Or, it's more of a psychological rescuing you need. It's more in the mind. For example, do you need to be rescued because your daily dying inside from being in a really bad relationship? Maybe you need to be rescued from your internal battle of not being in good relations with your parents or children? Maybe you need to be rescued from a phobia you've been trying years to fight, overcome and just get over it! See what I mean? Everyone needs rescuing!
Thousands of years ago, there was an innocent man named Jesus and a not so innocent man named Barabbas. Barabbas was actually set free! Jesus, who didn't do anything wrong was crucified and died for us. Folks, we all may not be murderous like Barabbas but we do all need rescuing by Jesus, the savior of the world !
“Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. The soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called together the whole company of soldiers. They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him. And they began to call out to him, “Hail, king of the Jews!” Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.

They discovered he had been shot in his back and had bullet fragments still inside him. They performed surgery on him to remove the fragments.
