He Gone!

Isn't the Lord funny? I thought of,   "he gone " because I was thinking of the announcer at Chicago White Sox games. And, I might go to a Chicago White Sox game today with Brandice. Don't worry I'm still a Cubs fan. I'm actually wearing black and white LOL But, then my world series Cubs hat. So, if things go accordingly I'll be at the game. It's an interleague game against the Cardinals. So, I guess I want both of them to lose. :) But, if I had to choose I would want the Sox to win because that would make the Cardinals go down in the NL rankings! Why might Sam go to the Sox game? Well, first of all it's only $7. It is something to do with Brandice. It is a little sad that the Chicago White Sox has to sell their tickets on Groupon. But, it's a good thing for me. It's a low price!

Wow, yesterday me and Brandice were hanging outside the Thompson Center and I made a goal for myself to pass out 5 cards. Praise God because I surpassed that goal yesterday! So, that means that more people will get encouragement!

Let me give some shout outs. First of all, Hello to Sarah Choi. Thank you for accepting my card and I pray my words will really encourage you! Hi Charles Watkins, Chris, Emma, David Miles. I specifically remember Christophe, a gentleman in front of 7-Eleven because not only of his distinct name, but because we spoke French to each other! Thank you everyone and I pray that you will be encouraged by my writings. 

Now, let's dive in to today's writing. I'm going to write about something that is probably not unusual or surprising to others. Well, of course I don't know specifics with other people.

I'm going to start out by saying we are under attack. I can undoubtedly say that. The church is under attack. The church meaning God's people are under attack. Do you guys agree with this? I don't know the severity specifically of each and everyone's attack, but I know that we are under attack.

And, folks, think about it. What's going on around the world? What's going on in our own country?

The people of God are being mocked, marginalized, and set apart. Not in a good way.

I've noticed something recently in my own life. The closer I want to get to God and try to fix things with his leading, the more the evil one attacks. Fellow Christian believers, do you know what I mean? It is beyond frustrating. Sometimes I just want to give up. But, I know I shouldn't. Please keep me in prayer. One time my husband, shared some Deep Thoughts with me I really needed to hear. Sometimes we humans think we can fix things on our own right? Well, he reminded me that it really takes prayer.

I'm going to end my writing! with this y'all can be mindful of. When the end of the world comes, Satan and his evil ones have already lost. We're just waiting for the final day when all will be gone. Evil ones will be thrown in the Lake of Fire and go through their fiery destination. Satan is the Prince of the world now but it's temporary. He's just working on trying to find as many people to bring with him. You think you're going to go with him? With Jesus you don't have to!

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Revelation 20: 10
