Just Too Hard

No surprise, my sponge for my liquid powder makeup falls on the floor. Thank you to this nice man Paul who picked it up for me That's not all. Then the cover of my red lip gloss fell on the floor in front of me. I asked this nice man Brandon and he picked it up for me! Thank you Brandon and Paul for accepting my card and being so nice!  I pray you will be encouraged by the writings.

My husband is such an awesome helper to people, especially me. Seriously, I mean not only with me but with anyone else who needs help. You know what? Maybe,that is his superhero power. Hmm. :) Do you need help? Joe's to the rescue! 

And, now that he strained his hamstring, it kills when he bends down on the floor. Now he just can't help me like he usually does. That, my friend frustrates, annoys, and completely took him out of his comfort zone. This makes him mad and it would probably make anyone else mad to be taken out of their comfort zone!

You know what friends? This is a total reminder to me. I don't mean to spiritualize what I'm about to say. But here it is. Joe not being able to help me like he used to is a reminder to me that God is the one that will always be with me 100% of the time. So, I think the question he wants me to think about is this. Sam, are you depending on God all the time? Or, Sam are you just assuming Joe will always be there for you 100 percent of the time to help? My response is  ”o". with kind of a down cast facial expression.

I love my husband, and I know he loves me. His love language is acts of service. So, he shows his love language when he helps me. I really appreciate that. Please pray I would remember to say my appreciation to him more! Then my love language is quality time and affirming words.I think it is so imperative to find out what your significant other's Love Language is. Then show them you love them by their love language.

Anyway,, what I wanted to point out was this deep thought. There are things in life that are going to be so hard for us. I am sure that you guys if not now but before have been stuck in a situation where it was just too hard to handle.

If ever that happens. Let me share these words from the word of God.

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. NKJV

I know right? Have you guys tried that? It's pretty difficult. You want me to consider it Joy when I'm going through something difficult? I guess we need to try that, and ask God for help.
