It's All About the Wife's Power, Right?

If you guys are devoted readers of mine, once you saw my title I'm thinking you got a little confused. Right? I thought about it for a bit and I thought if I was like one of you guys I would be confused too.

I say that because in the past, my writings seem to be more for the husband to be the main authority figure aside from God, being your number one authority. We should know that, after God, the husbands are the main authority figure to the wives.

Please don't be confused and try to understand that this goes to the husbands and the wives. If you are not married then your main authority figure is God. Wives don't get confused.  Your main authority figure is still God, but if you have been putting in a marriage then you should know to follow your husband because it is what God has commanded wives to do.  See, God is speaking to your husband's heart.

Husbands are leading wives but following God's Authority. Well that's what they should be doing. Wives use your common sense! Seriously, if your husband is telling you to kill somebody, then I think it's okay not to follow the husband in that instance.  After all, that is not what God wants you to do.

My friend, Carey, shares my thoughts. She says to people who know her thoughts, they probably think she is a liberal. But she said she's not. No she's not conservative either. She says she is in God's party.

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.
