We Will Never Know Unless We See Them

Oh no I almost forgot. Hi to Shelly! She was one of the ladies I met here before at the condo. She was telling me that she took a look at my card and praise God she enjoyed the writings! Hello also to Allison. She was a waitress I met yesterday when me and Joe went to the sidewalk sale in Andersonville and had lunch at Lady Gregory. Our lunch was so good! I asked our waitress if I can personally pay compliments to the chef or our yummy food! His name was Chef Juan. Awesome place! You must go eat food there!

I used to say that I was born and raised as a Christian. I had later discovered that was a pretty false sentence. First of all, how can I be born as a believer in Christ? Born as a Christian? That just sounds foreign to me? Weird? Right. Well now it is. Didn't God give us free will? How are we to exercise that free will when we can't even think straight? As far as being raised as a Christian believer? I don't remember asking Jesus to come into my heart at a young age. I'm not saying one cannot be as Christian believer at such a young age. No, we cannot put an age limit and when they would accept Christ. We don't know people's minds. Of course they can, it's all about understanding, believing, and inviting Jesus in their heart. But, I'm saying I don't believe that I felt that way when I was in my younger years. I do remember not really having a choice when it came to certain things concerning Faith. That's all I will say about that.

Like an innocent, not knowing what to believe person, I had an open mind. I remember hearing about Buddhism, Jehovah's Witness, Islam, Hare Krishna, and probably other stuff. And I was intrigued. I had an inquiring mind. Probably made the evil one happy. But good thing, it didn't go any further.

1995 is when I found Christ! Thank God for that! I had a quench for more knowledge of the Bible. That didn't last, but now I believe a little of it is still there. God likes to pop encouraging verses in my head when I need to hear them. I pray that I can get that hunger I used to have and fire I used to have when I first came to know Christ. Maybe, if that happens I will really want to read and want to know more and more about the Bible again.

One of the questions I couldn't really grasp and get out of my head was this. Why would God send good people here on Earth to hell? Why would God send bad people here on Earth to Heaven?

The answer, well my answer is I don't know. Well, what I do know is that God doesn't do the sending. It's up to us whether we go to heaven or hell. It's all based on our decision of whether or not we want to embrace Christ as our Lord and savior. We really do not know what goes on in a person's mind seconds before they leave this earth.

Consider this, the bad person here on Earth may have had a change of heart and totally put their trust in Jesus Christ.  Also, consider this maybe the good person really never chose to invite Jesus into their heart? Both situations can go to both the good person and the bad person.

At the end of the life of Jesus, one of the other men with him who was crucified for his wrongdoings, asked Jesus to remember him when he gets into his kingdom. Jesus replied this man would definitely
be with Jesus in his kingdom.

Folks, to reiterate we just will never know. Well, until Believers get to heaven then they will see who the other believers are. Maybe they will be totally shocked?! So, you know what my suggestion is? You better stick to what you will know. And, that is what is in your own heart. See, after you die, no one down here is going to be there for you. The only one who will be there for you if you invite him in your heart is
Jesus!

I don't understand. Don't you want to be assured of your salvation? AKA don't you want to be certain you will go to heaven after you die? You can be.

1 John 5:11‭-‬12 NIV

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Luke 23:39‭-‬43 NIV

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”  But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”  Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ”  Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
