Before I begin this Monday's writing, I want to say hello to Vivian. Vivian is helping out here at Starbucks for a few months. Joe let me wheel myself over by her. I stopped and talked to her as she was stacking up some stuff.
My caregiver and I went back to the condo, and I actually gave the bus driver a card as well. His name was Clayborn or maybe Clybourn. One of those two. LOL I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Thanks for the help in positioning my wheelchair in the bus! Not many bus drivers care to help and I appreciate it when there are bus drivers like you that do!
If you're reading this now, then you probably have a pretty keen understanding and knowledge of the late Whitney Houston. That is still kind of awkward with the reference of Whitney Houston being late AKA hard to believe she's deceased.
She really did have a great musical career with many hit songs, that in the past were blasting in car radios, boomboxes, and with what most people had in their homes before, stereo systems. Oh and how can I forget cassettes, albums, walkmans, iPods and CDs (Compact disc players). I'm probably forgetting more. Just a side note. I actually still have the Boombox my parents gave me for Christmas when I was in 3rd grade. And, I think I also still have my iPod, used in college. I know my parents still have a record player at the house. Wow, I'm old. Just sharing. :-) My boombox doesn't work that well anymore though. Not surprised!
Those things were how people got their Whitney Houston music widely before. And, maybe like me, still do. LOL. Nowadays, music can be easily played. Music can be heard by the way of cellular phones. You download some of the songs, go crazy and make a playlist on Pandora. However, don't go too crazy! Make sure you are getting your music legally and there is no piracy going on.
I am pretty positive if you just type in Whitney Houston on your Google page or YouTube, you'll hear something about Whitney Houston. This woman was an American music icon. I can imagine her home, probably a mansion, being filled with Grammys, American Music Awards and other praiseworthy emblems, or trophies that totally highlighted and commemorated her for a career well done!
Pause break. Thank you, Paul, for zipping up my makeup bag and chatting with me for a little bit. Tell your friend that you work with who has MS, to be encouraged! God will always help him. Keep praying that one day we will find a cure! Paul, thank you for speaking with me and I pray you
will be encouraged by the writings! Have a great day!
Over the past few years the passing away of many great well known people like Whitney Houston, Paul Walker, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin,p and many others shocked the nation with news of their death.
In the car over the weekend, Joe was playing Moody Radio. It was going to be an hour-long drive on the way to church. It was actually good that the Lord told us to listen to a sermon because we actually ended up missing church because Lakeshore Drive was closed down. So we just met our friends for lunch.
Pause break. And I almost forgot to share what happened Monday. Check it out. So, my writing today is going to be about a song sung by Whitney Houston. What comes on the speaker at Starbucks? Exactly the song that I'm going to write about.
Anyway like I said we were listening to the sermon on the radio from Moody Church. The song is, "Greatest Love of All." I'm just going to take out some lyrics from this song and give my deep thoughts. When Pastor shared some points and answers about the song, Joe said he never knew that everything was wrong about that song! Time to share some deep thoughts!
Lyric and Points
"learning to love yourself it is the Greatest Love of All."

Lyric and Points
"learning to love yourself it is the Greatest Love of All."
- Um.... Learning To Love Yourself is not the Greatest Love of All" To me, that sounds a little bit selfish. I think it really should be learning to love God is The Greatest Love of All. Learning to love like God is The Greatest Love of All.
" The Greatest Love of All is easy to achieve"
- It's easy to love God.
"believe the children are our future teach them well and let them lead the way"
- I agree with teaching them but when they're still young, you are there Superior. They still need to obey their parents!
"Find your strength in love."
- I agree with that if you mean that God is love. So find your strength in God who strengthens us
John 3:16 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Exodus 20:12 ESV
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
Romans 8:28 ESV
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
John 13:34-35 ESV
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
