It Is Full!

Shout out to Ashley. She was one of the workers at Shake Shack when we went there yesterday for an early dinner at Old Orchard Mall. Ashley I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Have a blessed day!

The other day, I gave my husband my phone and asked him to take a picture of me and my girlfriend. He was about to and then he stopped. He was in "deep thought" and told me the memory on my phone was full. So, he needed to delete stuff before could take the picture.

Pastor Greg Laurie said something in one of his devotions, one time something similar to this. Wouldn't it be cool if our brains would signal A "Memory Full" command out to the evil ones when they want to put bad stuff in our minds.

We need to make sure that our minds are filled with good things. We must not let the evil one get a foothold. Folks, our minds are a powerful thing. Are we filling it with good and  encouraging thoughts?

Are you Sam and friends thinking before you speak? Is what I am about to say going to be encouraging, helpful inspiring, kind, loving...all good things. I need to start doing that. Can you just imagine how different conversations would be?

I don't know if there's truth to what I'm about to say. But it makes me feel a little more protected from evil wanting to enter my thoughts. I forgot who I heard it from, but it seems like some wise counsel.

We all probably can
assume Satan does not like anything that is of God. And Christian music is of God! When I feel like " evil" is about to get a foothold. I like to play Christian music or even sing Christian lyrics. It doesn't work all the time, but it does help most of the time. I can tell. It may change my total appearance or outlook on a situation I may be going through.

Try that and see if it helps!

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
