Anger

Skillet: Monster

Yesterday me and my husband met with some friends after Church and we had lunch at Great American Bagel. I was able to give a couple cards out to a couple of the people at the register. Alandra and Diane! I pray that you two ladies will be encouraged by the writings!

On to today's writing. Ok wait a minute so I ordered a kiddy hot chocolate on the app on the phone, and it's been 2 hours and still no drink. So, what did I do? Thank you Julie. She's going up to the register so I told her to ask them if I was going to get my drink? It was a kiddy size hot chocolate. Thank you Julie for telling them in the register am I going to get my hot chocolate? And, pray you will be encouraged by the writings!

Anger! An emotion that happens to all of humankind. I do not think it is something God likes. However, for reasons no one understands it is an emotion God allows to happen.

God is God, and we may forget sometimes but he is going to allow things that may be bad to happen. And, when that bad stuff happens, we really need to be mindful that we have no control over other people's actions or hurtful sayings.
So, and I need to work on this myself, I need to and we need to take the focus off changing other people.

The only thing we can really do, and the only thing we have control over, is this. We have control over our own hearts and minds. It is entirely
our choice how we choose to react to the bad that is happening.Yes, I truly believe there will be demons whispering in your mind, stuff that we shouldn't do and words that we shouldn't say.

Remember the evil one just wants us to entice the other person's anger. The evil one knows that the higher the person's anger will escalate, the more likely harshness and destruction will happen.

Some people, don't really have an anger problem. They don't let the anger get to the point where they just lose control. Some people do. If you do, then pray that the Lord will help you fight it and get through it. The same with patience, or addictiveness to pornography, or whatever sin you are really having trouble fighting and are struggling with.

When I was a child, (Not a child of God) I easily let myself get angry. Now that I am an adult, I  notice how the Lord has tamed down my nature of easily getting angry. I'm thinking it was a prayer I probably asked for when I first became a Christian. I definitely am not saying I'm completely
or 100 percent cured from falling into a really bitter case of anger. I certainly do not want that to be an opening to really bring on someone else's anger or hurting someone.

Anyway, if anger is something you are really serious about wanting to change about yourself, then I challenge you to pray. Pray to God and ask him 2 deliver you. Then, all you can do is trust and have the faith and just wait. Hopefully,
It won't take more than 10 or 20 years.

Do not be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil

Ephesians 4:26-27 (NKJV)
