Do You Listen To Your Family?

Hi to Anna Marie! It was so 
nice meeting you in church this morning! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings!

I'm imagining some people first looking at my title and then thinking " Heck No! My family treats me like.....( fill in the blank with a word. Something that is negative.) 

Friends, when I use the word family for this writing, I'm talking to fellow believers. Do we listen to our family of believers. Listening to "blood" family is entirely different. 

Check the word of God to see more of what he has to say about that. And, I really have no counsel on those situations,  because every family is different. That is all I have to say about that.

However, when it comes to the family of believers. I have some thoughts. Oops some deep thoughts. :-)

If I'm doing something wrong, or I am saying something wrong, I believe that I need to be lovingly rebuked by my fellow Christian family. And, if I continue to be disobedient, 

then that one Christian sister should bring another Christian with her. And, I should welcome that. That is what the Lord says in his word one needs to do.  

Folks, to reiterate people are put in your life to give you wise counsel. If you're getting it from fellow believers, have faith and trust that the words are coming from God. If the verbal aide is coming from non-believers, I have no idea if it's going to be some good advice. It might be some good advice you should follow. That my friends is between your heart and God.
