The Same Tongue

James 3:9-10 New International Version (NIV)

With the tongue, we praise our Lord and Father, and with it, we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.

Happy Monday! Today I'm going to be talking about something that actually is really part of my love languages.

Pause break, Hi to Lisa.  Thanks for
zipping closed my makeup bag and accepting my card! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Have a good day!

And, I want to give a shout ou to Elizabeth who was standing around Michigan Avenue. She was basically doing what I do except not writing but standing up shouting 2 the people walking down the street about how awesome
Our God is! And, it's so true we shouldn't be
focused on gaining the whole world but not paying attention to the fact that we may lose our soul. Because that will happen, if we do not have that relationship with God.

As I was saying part of my Love language ? And, that is words of affirmation. It's kind of bizarre because I only really get hurt by it if it was said by someone I love. When he curses and talks harshly, it affects me so much. When other people do it I could care less.
It's all about love language. Who better to know your love language then your significant other? Think about that. See, that is why it is imperative for one to know what their m.k
Their significant others love languages.

I hope you understand. It kind of makes sense because my love language is words of affirmation. And when the person who truly loves me is not speaking words of affirmation. It really hurts. To reiterate, if someone else says it I really could care less.
I'm sure my loved ones will get hurt if I don't show them their love language. It could be a vicious cycle.

What about you guys? Is there a specific person you can pinpoint? He or she almost never swears or curses, but when it turns out they end up doing that to you or someone else, it's a different world. So to speak.

Think about it guys. Do harsh words affect you? Do you guys like it? I didn't think so.

When you think about it, the tongue is so powerful. Isn't it? There are sometimes when we use it to curse and swear. Then maybe on Sunday morning, we're using it to praise God! It's actually kind of amazing to me how our mindsets could quickly change from praising to cursing and vice versa.

People all over this world go through a variety of hardships. I'm one of them and maybe so are you. However, we mustn't let that get us down.

Friends, we have a savior who may be knocking at the door of our hearts. It is your choice if you want to open the door and let him into your life!

Pause break.. before I end my writing, I want to give a shout out to D'Andria. I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

  1. My friends and I were just speaking on this subject. For instance.. if someone truly cares about you they would do their best not to hurt you verbally or physically. They would think before they speak to you and filter themselves to an extent out of love for you.

  2. Wow, I think that sounds we all should think. That's why it's so important, to know what your loved ones love languages are. That way, we can really make them feel loved the way they interpret love.
