Give Me One Reason

Josh, thank you so much for picking up my powder sponge brush thingy that's on the floor. And thank you for everything like picking up the card off the table.  I don't know, my hands were really shaky! I pray you'll be encouraged by the writings and thank you again and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Shout out to Cristina, a new Starbucks worker. Thank you for accepting my card and exchanging the flat white you wanted me to try with a salted caramel mocha. No, I did not like the flat white mocha.

God did It Again! I was pretty much sure I was going to say and do something. However, I knew deep in my heart that it was not biblical and definitely not something that God would have liked.

However, today this morning I was having an "I don't care, God" type of attitude. I won't go into specifics because some things I don't need to share with the whole world!

Really what the key point for this writing is this. When one is going back and forth thinking about something in their mind.  Contemplating on whether or not he or she should do that "something." Truly ask yourself is it biblical? Is this something God wants me to do?  How is my heart feeling right now?

I guess to Sam and all you other people, don't be a disobedient child of God.  Satan likes to remind us of the bad things.  And God likes to remind us of the good things and the things he wants us to do and not to do.

Let me share an example. I'm thinking some of you guys are lost in what I am talking about. Let me share a random example.  Let's say you are a boy about to break up with his girlfriend.  This boy is very strong in the faith and active in his church. Ever since he started dating this girl his relationship with God has slowly been disappearing. He has been in back backsliding mode.

This man knows exactly what he needs to do. Outsiders, fellow Christians are telling him what he needs to do. Most importantly, his heart is telling him what he needs to do.  But, this man just doesn't want to.  He is being a very disobedient child of God. And, I totally understand that. It's hard to leave someone you think you love. Why don't they just understand that you don't want to do the things that used to do?

Friends, I have been there. You probably have also been there. Maybe you are there even as I speak? If a friendship is bringing you down in your walk with God, you have to let the person go. If they don't know God, that is a reason for you to walk away.
