Better late than never! Shame on Sam! I forgot to give shout outs!  Shout out to Ms. James! I pray you will be encouraged by my writings!

Shout out to Estelle Martin I met at the Daley center. She was giving out breast cancer ribbons! Pray you'll be encouraged by the writings! Have a great one!

Shout out to David from River Valley Kitchens! Oh my word, that was the best veggie tamales I've ever had! Thank you for the taste tester. I came back to the booth a couple hours later so I can buy some more with my husband. But you guys left already! :-( Oh well, maybe you guys will be back at Daley next week!

I also want to give a shout out to your baby Sierra with Lupus. Girl, praying for you! Just remember God will always take care of you. :-) Have a great day!

Shout out to Uncle Manny and Auntie Edel.  I pray you be encouraged by the writings!

Let's dive in to today's writing!

What grabs people's attention? I'm thinking if someone is drop dead gorgeous. Then, that may make someone give a second look. Let's consider some characters in the Bible who were nice to look at, due to the fact that they were just so beautiful or handsome.

Rebekah... was very beautiful to behold.
Genesis 24:15-16 (NKJV)

Rachel was beautiful of form and appearance.
Genesis 29:17 (NKJV)

Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance.
Genesis 39:6 (NKJV)

So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months.
Exodus 2:2 (NKJV)

He had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was not a more handsome person n than he among the children of Israel... he was taller than any of the people.
1 Samuel 9:2 (NKJV)

Now, let's bring it to today's time. Today's world. Today at the condo. Today in the next room. One may find Joe. Joe is my husband. Today one may see Joe and he is very easy on my eyes. You know what I'm saying? H'You know?! :) [ picture me saying that with pizzazz lol]

Let's consider something. Why does God allow some people to be so beautiful or handsome? Then on the flip side why does God allow people to be so not beautiful and not so handsome? Well, the reality is there's no way I can answer that. God does that because God is God and he can do whatever he wants. End of that deep thought. LOL

To reiterate, I do find my husband very attractive. But, the attraction that I get from him and vice versa probably goes deeper than just a physical attraction.

Personally to me, it is so attractive when my husband utilizes the gifts the Lord has blessed him with. For example, this man is such an artist! When he displays his artwork to me that makes him more attractive than the minute before!

Or, there are times I just have so many weird and outlandish questions pertaining to my thoughts with certain Bible verses or passages. Joe, shares his answer words with me. Or, if he doesn't know then he spends time to check the Bible so that he can give me answers! That makes him so attractive to me!

I guess what I want to point out for my writing is just that. I mean Beauty is beyond physical attraction. I have a friend whose daughter is a big-time photographer in New York for all the models and actors and people of the like. I want to add something she said in my writing.
New York fashion photographer, Glynis Carpenter, has photographed thousands of models, stars and celebrities. Here's what Glynis says about it:
"Beauty is confidence. Being attractive to the camera has less to do with bone structure and more to do with attitude. Being comfortable and happy in your skin makes a good picture. I've shot people the world might consider unattractive, but they photographed beautifully. It's not magic by my hand. It's about God's Hand--and seeing themselves as His creation!".' (Glynis added: 'Practice helps, too!')
