The driver that brought us to Soldier Field yesterday to see the 1st place Bears win! It's kind of hard to believe the Bears went from being the last place in the Central division to being first place. And that is because the other teams in the division lost their games. How funny is that? LOL
Maybe I'll call Pace later, just to get the name of the girl who drove us. That is unless God just makes me all of the sudden remember her name. It's happened before!
Shout out to David, Richard, Diana, and Kim. They are very nice people I met yesterday sitting in the handicap section with me and Joe.
I'd like to give a shout out to Michael my lyft driver. Thanks for your inspirational words! I hop you find my readings encouraging! Also shout out to Steven from Chicago Med set!
I also want to give a shout out to miss Laquita. Thanks for driving the minibus back to the parking lot. Thank you Dave for bringing me and Joe home! And I pray that you all will be encouraged by the writings! Have a great day! Let's dive in!
I had read a devotion this morning that I think the Lord made me read because I really needed to read it and apply those things to my life. I highly doubt that when my husband and I were early on in our dating years, he would never have thought that I would have MS.
Almost 20 years later, here I am Samantha T-V, Woman with MS. I remember asking my husband if I was how I am now when we first met, would he still have been with me? He answered, probably not. I wasn't surprised. That's a logical answer. My husband is very logical.
Now, sometimes I just feel so sorry for him. This man takes on so many roles in this family. I , Samantha and maybe you too, should stop the complaining and really work on appreciating. My husband is not a licensed caregiver. So, I should understand that when he gets frustrated, annoyed, and overwhelmed.
Why can't I just shut up sometimes, right? Really, longing for different circumstances leads to complaining! I can totally vouch for that one!
I fuss about little things that I want to be corrected regarding our meals. What? I should be blessed that Joe even cooks me food. What husband do you know that always fixes my bag, cooks me food, cleans accidental messes and makes etcetera, etcetera!
Lord change my attitude! I think I should go back to reading that series LOL. I need to ask Joe and God forgiveness for having a bad attitude sometimes!
"The Israelites were familiar with this dilemma. It seems they were never satisfied and always griping about God’s provision (Exodus 17:1–3). Even though the Lord cared for His people in the wilderness by sending them “bread from heaven” (16:4), they began craving other food (Numbers 11:4). Instead of rejoicing over the daily miracles of God’s faithful and loving care, the Israelites wanted something more, something better, something different, or even something they used to have (vv. 4–6). They took out their frustrations on Moses" (vv. 10–14).
"Trusting God’s goodness and faithfulness can help us get a good grip on gratitude. Today we can thank Him for the countless ways He cares for us." Daily Bread

Romans 8:28 ESV
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
