Joe Freed It!

First of all, I want to say hi to Rich and Jessica. Rich unzipped open my makeup bag. I usually don't have a
problem opening it.
But, today I did. Thank you Rich again for helping!

Jessica just landed here from Washington DC. She helped me open my madeline wrapper.  It was so nice meeting you girl. And, pray you will be encouraged by my writing and everything else on my card. Have a great day!

Just yesterday, when Joe and I got to our parking spot in the condo, Joe noticed something. There was a grasshopper on the dashboard.(Wondering how that got inside the car?) First, it was closer to Joe and then it walked closer to my area of the dashboard.

Anytime my husband sees certain bugs, especially spiders, he does something most people probably
don't do. I'm thinking most people would probably just run away from it, step on it, or kill it in some fashion. That is not the case with Joe when it comes to grasshoppers or spiders.

What he usually does is put the spider or bug in a napkin, then put the napkin on the floor and watches as the spider or bug goes away. Sometimes he even says out loud, "you are free buddy."

I asked him, "why don't you just kill the bug?!" He told me, no you never kill spiders!
Then he gave me his explanation of why he chooses not to do that.

So, yesterday reminded me of something. Maybe he felt the same way. Hence, not wanting to kill the innocent grasshopper.  I know right? Isn't that something? It made me think of this. The human race aka, God's creation of beautiful people were stuck in bondage but, because of the gift of Jesus hanging on the cross and dying for us, we are now free.  Because we were sinners, we deserved death!  But because he is a loving God, he sacrificed himself so we can be set free.

Romans 5:8 ESV

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16 ESV

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
