Big Ups to the new Starbucks worker, Tyrone.Thank you for giving me hot water. Thank you for accepting my card and I pray you'll be encouraged by the writings! Thank you so much and shout out to Alexis! Thank you kind sir for trying to find my lip liner cover on the floor. Hopefully I'll find it when Dee gets here . Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and for accepting my card. I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Let's dive in to today's writing!

Hello to this other lady my caregiver gave one of my card to at the Thompson Center when we were there.
I'd give a shout out
to this other lady I gave a card to and address her by name, but she didn't want to give her name. That was a first. That's cool. I'm just happy with myself that I didn't forget to jot it down. I didn't get it anyway.  LOL. Nameless, praying you will be encouraged by the writings! Have a blessed day! Let's dive in.

Oh, let me first say that I started this writing yesterday Friday. And, I am finishing it now Saturday. That's why I'm talking about Starbucks and  the Thompson Center. No, I did not go there 6 a.m. in the morning LOL. Now, time to seriously get to finishing the writing!

Back when I was in grade school, bringing lunch was such a nerdy or geeky thing to do. All the "cool kids" bought their lunch. It was called "hot lunch." If you brought your lunch it was called, "cold lunch." Why I remembered that right now? I have no idea. I guess so that I can include it in today's writing? :)

Anyway, so one day before I walked to my grade school across the street from my house, I did this. I grabbed my brown paper bag filled with my peanut butter and jelly sandwich lunch from my mom. Oh, wait there was another thing. Having brown paper bags wasn't cool. The cool kids had lunch boxes with like Smurfs or something on them. Anyways, sorry that was just a thought. Another deep thought.

Anyways, back to my story. One day before I went to school, I walked to the downstairs bathroom and I threw out my peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the garbage. Yep, stupid I know. So, then I went to school like one of those cool kids and I bought a lunch! I think it was like $2 for the chicken fingers.

I don't know it probably wasn't even that good. I remember when I got home. My uncle who was living with us at the time found my pbj sandwich in the garbage. He ratted on me and told my parents.

My parents got mad at me. And, I don't even remember if I said sorry. But, that's the end of the story. Right now, I actually feel bad. Sorry Mom and Dad.

Totally makes me remember the bible story of Abraham and Sarai.  Definitely, not as Extreme as what happened with them. But, the fact that me and Abraham both stopped trusting in God is what makes it relevant.

Abraham was scared and stopped trusting in God and said that his wife was his sister. I was tired of not being considered cool and took matters in my own hands by throwing away my sandwich.
What I should have done was this. Trust in God because he truly knew how left out I felt, and I should have trusted that he would have changed my parents heart one day and they would have given me money to buy lunch. :*(  :*)

I hope you get what I got from this. It's a good reminder to me. When you sin, you will get caught up someway and somehow.

Proverbs 3: 5-6

Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths.

Genesis 12:10-20

Abram and Sarai in Egypt

10 Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land. 11 When he was about to enter Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, “I know that you are a woman beautiful in appearance, 12 and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.’ Then they ywill kill me, but they will let you live. 13 Say you are my sister, that it may go well with me because of you, and that my life may be spared for your sake.” 14 When Abram entered Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful. 15 And when the princes of Pharaoh saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh. And the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house. 16 And for her sake he dealt well with Abram; and he had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male servants, female servants, female donkeys, and camels.
17 But the Lordzafflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife. 18 So Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? 19 Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her for my wife? Now then, here is your wife; take her, and go.” 20 And Pharaoh gave men orders concerning him, and they sent him away with his wife and all that he had.
