This Person Encouraged Me

This is a post I started months ago. Just finishing it now before I go to church. Oh, so now I'm back from church and I have to give a shout out because first I gave the card to Martha, a dear friend at church. Girl, I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Enjoy the rest of your day. And, I want to say hello to this awesome lady I met today for the first time to her coming to the church. Jami, it was so nice meeting you! I pray that you will be encouraged by the writings and I hope and pray you'll come back to church again!

What am I talking about? I'll tell you. Well, first of all happy Monday and I decided to go to Starbucks this morning.

I was very encouraged by someone earlier. I was talking 2 someone who had asked how I was doing and I had responded with a blank look on my face saying same old same old.

The person said " ????? ." I didn't hear what was said so I had a dumbfounded look on my face. She was surprised with my blank and not "bubbly personality "normal Sam.

I still looked confused. She says to me" Because you're you." I kind of couldn't understand what she meant by that. Seriously, it's still early so my brain is kind of slow with processing information.  LOL No, so I said, "what do you mean?"

Then, this person said, something like well I can't remember verbatim. But it was something to the effect of I guess my spirits  always being up.

Her saying that also reminded me of this. Some months ago after I had surgery I spoke to one of the doctors afterwards and she told me the same thing. Oh she was kinda in tears. My spirits were so high. she said.This dr. was in tears when she was telling me what might have happened if the surgery didn't go well. Anyway I'll save that for another writing.

Just like the doctor and the friend I spoke to this morning they really encouraged me. After the person said what they said, I responded with well that's God helping me.

It's really nice and I appreciate it when people say things like that to encourage me. That's exactly what God says we should do. So, thanks to you people who encourage me. Hope I do the same with my writings! However, one thing I need to be mindful of is all of my appreciation and my thank yous go directly back to God!

Oh my gosh. Well first of all thank you and hi to Todd. Todd was sitting next to me. The Lord helped me get this guy's attention and give him a card. For some reason I was scared. I know right I'm scared or shy? So, when he stood up he was very awesome and he got me my hot water. And I gave him my card. So, Todd, I'm praying that you will be encouraged by my writings! Let's continue.

Do you guys ever forget to really give the thanks  back to God? I mean say thank you to people you can actually see. However, perhaps after that make sure you give thanks again because like for my example with Todd. Please give me strength and feelings not to be shy was what I prayed for..

So end of story thank you God for giving me strength and faith not to be shy!
